Bremner & Wiley to Develop $19.5 Million Adena Health Pavilion

The Bremner/Duke joint venture recently broke ground on the development of a new, 75,000 square foot, three-story, outpatient care facility. The building will be located on the campus of Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, OH.

“We were pleased to have been chosen to assist Adena in its expansion of services as it continues to provide quality healthcare throughout the community. Through our joint venture with Duke Realty, we are providing Adena with a seamless and integrated development, construction, and ownership model,” said Chuck Vogt, Bremner’s Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer.

The $19.5 million project consists of 75,000 square feet on three floors and includes an outpatient surgery center with three operating rooms, seven post-anesthesia recovery beds and 28 rooms for patient intake and discharge. The pavilion also features a four-suite endoscopy and bronchoscopy unit, six-bed sleep studies center, imaging services, laboratory services and pain management services.

Site preparation work for the Adena Health Pavilion is to begin the week of April 11, with project completion in March of 2006. The project developer is Bremner & Wiley, the general contractor is Duke Construction, and the project architect is Ellerbe-Becket. The hospital will lease the building from owner Bremner/Duke.
