Bremner Healthcare Opens Miami, Florida Office; Christie Grays named Business Development Director - Florida

In an effort to capitalize on the nationwide growth in healthcare, Bremner Healthcare Real Estate along with joint venture partner Duke Realty, has opened up a Miami, Florida office, with Christie Grays joining the Bremner team as the Business Development Director for Florida.
“We have had a great deal of success throughout the country in building healthcare with several hospital systems this year through our Duke Realty joint venture,” states Chuck Vogt, Senior Vice President & Chief Strategy Officer for Bremner Healthcare Real Estate. “Our expansion into Florida will further our growth into the south. We are very pleased to have Christie Grays join our company as our Business Development Director. Her business development skills, real estate background, and ties to the community throughout Florida made her a natural fit for this position. She is an outstanding individual.”
Ms. Grays, who joins Bremner Healthcare from Codina Realty Services where she specialized in office properties, most recently leasing a flagship office tower located in the Coral Gables international business center. She is on the board of directors for the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, is an active member of Commercial Real Estate Women, and was recently honored by Network Miami Magazine as one Miami’s 40 Under 40 Most Influential Black Business Professionals. She also serves as the president of her local alumnae chapter for Spelman College.

Bremner-Duke has $1 billion of capital available to assist hospitals and physician groups with the development of healthcare facilities. The Bremner-Duke joint venture allows Bremner Healthcare to utilize a flexible construction approach for hospital system projects. “Certain hospital systems will have a strong relationship with a general contractor, while others will suggest we issue a Request for Proposal to select the right general contractor,” states Vogt. “Our joint venture arrangement with Duke creates the ultimate flexible model for hospital systems. The Bremner-Duke design/build model will be utilized for many projects, while we will continue to utilize other general contractor firms when the hospital desires that process. With our healthcare expertise, Duke’s regional market infrastructure, and our flexible approach, we will have a competitive, flexible, and creative solution for each hospital system.”
