OrthoIndy and the Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital Announce Groundbreaking of New Facility on Westside

OrthoIndy and the Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital are breaking ground today on a new facility, located at the corner of Dan Jones Road and Northfield Drive in Brownsburg, Indiana. Spanning 38,000 square feet, the $15 million state-of-the-art facility will provide 5-star orthopaedic care to the expanding Westside of Indianapolis. The facility is scheduled to open fall 2008.

The new facility, OrthoIndy West, will include: 18 exam rooms, 2 operating rooms, physical therapy and a MRI. Four OrthoIndy physicians will be on-site, providing a complete range of orthopaedic care.

BSA LifeStructures designed the facility and BremnerDuke Healthcare Real Estate, a division of Duke Realty, will provide project management expertise and oversee the process from concept to completion. BremnerDuke Healthcare Real Estate has worked on a number of OrthoIndy projects, including the first specialty hospital in Indiana, the Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital.

A groundbreaking ceremony is taking place at 11 am today at the facility’s site. Keynote speakers include: John Martin, CEO, OrthoIndy; Dr. Frank Kolisek, President, OrthoIndy; Jane Keller, CEO, Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital; Dr. John Dietz, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital.
