Released: 1/10/2008

(Philadelphia – January 10, 2008) To fortify their presence in the East Region, Duke Realty’s healthcare division, BremnerDuke, has opened a Philadelphia office and tapped Allison P. Wilson to identify development opportunities and foster continued growth.

A full-service healthcare real estate developer, BremnerDuke Healthcare Real Estate is a premier provider of both healthcare development and management services, along with capital for expansion. In the East Region the fully-integrated operating division of Duke Realty developed Atlantic Health’s Medical Arts Center II at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey. BremnerDuke currently owns and manages the 72,000 square foot facility which houses a Medical Office Building, Women’s Health Center and Pain Clinic. In the firm’s 20-year history they have also managed healthcare facilities in New York City and Boston, as well as Verona and Morristown, New Jersey.

“The opening of our Philadelphia office signifies our commitment to provide a full-range of top-notch healthcare real estate development services to the eastern region of the U.S.,” said Don Dunbar, Regional Executive Vice President. “We are now on site and ready to actively serve the area’s hospitals and healthcare providers.”

In joining the BremnerDuke team Wilson brings more than a decade of experience in real estate development, concentrating specifically on healthcare properties in the East during the past six years. Her experience includes all phases of development including client relations, concepts development, multi-million dollar budget and proforma management, zoning and approvals, financing, leasing, and investor relations.

Wilson will put all those skills, along with an intricate knowledge of the region, to work for BremnerDuke as she negotiates with representatives of real estate, private enterprise, construction, governmental or regulatory organizations, and community leaders to acquire and develop land for medical use facilities. She will also serve as the central point of communication for projects regarding requests for proposals, budgeting, scheduling, and leasing matters.

Wilson earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from The University of Georgia, and a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
